Posthuman - Grad [Balkan Vinyl]

This is from the Unitary Covert Sonic Procedures IV 12" by Posthuman & Luke Vibert, limited to 101 copies which were only available at I Love Acid events as part of the current tour. Acid Breaks tune with a menacing bass line and the signature Posthuman sound.

Classic of the Week

Da Posse - In The Heat of the Night (Acid Mix) [Future/Freerange]

Classic originally released in 1988 on Future recordings and reissued on Freerange in 2014. Raw Acid House, this one simultaneously sounds of it’s time in the late eighties, while also sounding fresh in 2022.

AceMo - Ace’s House of Acid

Straight up Acid House from AceMo with a great sample from 80s Disco track, Midnight Star - Playmates. Brand new, but with a classic sound. I can see this one getting lots of play from me over the coming months.

Gig of the Week

We’re Going Deep with Domenic Cappello

We’re Going Deep land at The Love Inn in Bristol next Friday night with Domenic Cappello, resident for Glasgow’s infamous Sub Club. The We’re Going Deep label has been on fire since launching during lockdown and having seen Placid play at I Love Acid last week, this one is a no brainer for gig of the week. 🕺

Radio Show

On the CTRL Z Radio Show this week, we have tunes from the likes of Radio Slave, DECIUS, Tsuin, Fast Ghost, Paranoid London and more.

As always, you can hear the radio show on Wednesdays at 5pm GMT/BST on Underground Kollektiv, Thursdays 5pm GMT/BST on Data Transmission, Saturdays at 11pm GMT/BST on Radio Roadhouse, monthly Fridays on Ibiza Club Radio and new episodes hit the podcast every Friday morning.
