Acid (Not) House Special
Featuring The Dare, Orange Juice & Nine Inch Nails
Hey
Welcome to the CTRL Z Newsletter. We have eclectic taste around here, so for a change this week we have three tunes flying the 303 flag from outside of the world of House & Techno. Normal service will be resumed next week.
This week’s Record of the Week was out a couple of years ago as a single, but was recently included as part of The Dare’s debut album. The Classic of the Week was the first UK Top 10 single to feature the 303, released in February 1983 and reaching number 8 in April. Then we have One More Industrial Rock classic with that unmistakable bass squelch.
Finally, CTRL Z Radio is back with an afternoon of brand new shows tomorrow, tune in on Mixcloud Live to hear them. In the meantime, we have a show for you from Ed Vedra. Check it out on Mixcloud for your fix of Acid & Tech House.
